Side Feeding
Side Feeding is a solution suitable for applications where a standard collet system cannot be used. Thanks to its shaped nest, it allows reliable processing and feeding of screws that would jam in collets. Additional equipment with an electric axis enables Side Feeding to process screws of various lengths.
Principle of function
The screw is fed into a shaped nest by a transport hose, which is extended under a vacuum tube. The vacuum tube picks up the screw, transports it to the screwing position, where it is then screwed in. If an electric drive is used for the Z-axis movement, it is possible to process screws of different lengths with a single screwdriver within a single application.
