Screwdriver with collets and vacuum tube
This popular system is suitable for mounting on a robotic arm or manipulator and for applications where the screw head is positioned in hard to reach place. It can be close to an edge, inside a hole or in applications with screw mask. The lightweight design with a weight of around 3.5 kg allows for very dynamic moves with Scara robots and screwdriving times under 3.5 seconds.
The high quality abrasion resistant finish ensures a long service life without operator intervention. If an accident does occur during operation, the customer will appreciate the tool-free bit change option.
Principle of function
The system is designed for combination with an automatic step or bowl screw feeder. The screw is fed into screwdriving head using a feed hose. From there, the screw is ejected via a vacuum tube to the screwdriving point. It is then tightened to the exact torque with a screwdriving bit.
